In the early morning hours of Sunday, July 17, 2016, Gary Sanford Paxton left this life for his heavenly home. Back in the day, Paxton penned a song entitled, “Heaven’s Just a Jesus Away.” That song has now become a reality for Gary.
It is the purpose of this website to memorialize an icon and the musical works he produced. As the heart of this man would desire, the emphasis of this tribute site will be on the gospel messages he penned and set to music.
